VANIYAMBADI AHMEDIA BRIYANI

Today i got an opportunity to taste the renowned Ahmedia briyani , vaniyambadi. I went around 7 pm, and asked for mutton briyani . They responded promptly and got my favourite with minimal waiting time .  The typical long grained basmati rice was aromatic and flavourful with lots of mutton pieces which was cooked well . The briyani was fluffy , less spicy and it was light on stomach .  The watery gravy (salna ) they serve with briyani is super tasty .  

One thing i dont like is the mutton pieces felt rubbery and bland . 

Overall a nice briyani to have when u cross vaniyambadi . 👍

 

DINDIGUL BOY AT YA MOIDEEN BRIYANI PALLAVARAM

It happened one fine afternoon. Me and friend were sitting in my home and discussing about what to have for lunch. As a briyani lover i will always suggets Briyani. If you belive me or not i can eat Briyani 3 times a day for as many days as possible.I heard about Moideen briyani through facebook and thought of give it a try. We reached the hotel by 2:00 PM , i can't believe a long queue is standing infront of the hotel to get Briyani token. I was suprised to see the crowd and started waiting in the queue. Some one from the hotel is announcing in mike that mutton briyani is finished and t will take another 30 minutes to reach the hotel(ha ha ha ha .... ).
Since there is no other way we ordered two chicken briyani.

whats special in Moideen briyani ?????

the briyani is good , but Moideen success is the qunatity of chicken pieces in the each plate. They are charging rs130 for chicken and rs 170 for mutton briyani. You will be getting more number of pieces compared to any other hotels in Chennai .

note: Dindigul venu briyani is better than Moideen briyani.. ... :D

My Rajapalayam puppy Nova 45 days old

My 45 days old Rajapalayam puppy NOVA.. We bought him home on an auspicious day. He is so cute. I got him checked by a vet and vaccinated. We choose Rajapalayam breed because it is an indegenious breed ,free from various diseases and susceptible to our climate conditions.

BATH AT GLACIER WATER

The whole thing was like a heavenly dream. It takes place during our maiden road trip to the Himalayas. We planned to reach Delhi from Leh within 3 days. After a tiresome 1st day and an overnight stay at a camp in Sarchu, we are heading towards Manali since it takes around 8 hours to reach the destination we started by early morning after having a light breakfast.


After a couple of hours of drive from Sarchu we saw a heavenly lake by the side of the road "DEEPAK TAAL" and a restaurant nearby. The lake was crystal clear and so beautiful. we met a person named Manoj in the restaurant, and he took us boat ride in the lake.we asked Manoj  whether we could go for a swim ??? He laughed at us  and said don't joke guys, the water is icy cold. If we listened to him then that will be the end of the story. But what happened next is history. Yes me and friend had a swim there. I dont know what kind of minerals are there in the lake, but it took away all the pains to reach the Himalayas. It was so fresh and enjoyed the icy cold. I can feel 10000 pricks of a safety pin when i was taking the dip.REALLY WORTH IT .....

Last summer i got a chance to do a road trip from south India to the roof the world The Himalayas and i grabbed it tightly as i dont want to miss the chance. It turned out to be an once in a  lifetime experice for me. Throughthout the trip i had tasted different cuisines and a variety of dishes each has it own unique flavours. When i reached Manali from Leh i saw a lot of advertisements about the Trout fish. I enquired the locals about the best place to have the dish and went there.

The place is quite awesome, its so fresh. The farm is using running water for its tank because of this there is no water stagnation and no fishy smell which you will find in any fish farm. I ordered trout fish fry, fish gravy and went for a walk around the farm. Once the guy took the order he straightaway went near the pond to catch the fish.

After nearly 30 minutes fish fry is in my table and i could smell the freshness and really enjoyed it ....

Dindigul boy at Sankaran kovil "Dindigul briyani vs sankaran kovil briyani "

As i am from a place known for Briyani, i am usually fond of tasting different varieties of briyani whenever the chance arrives. We planned a road trip to Courtallam from Madurai via Sankarankovil. we started from madurai after having breakfast and reached sankaran kovil by afternoon.we know that Sankarankovil is famous for its briyani and asked the locals about the best place to have the heavenly rice. After a while we came to know that Sultan briyani hotel is a classic hotel located near busstand. We ate there and it is really good , the best thing is the mutton pieces are surprisingly juicy, tender and large.

Atlast i found that Dindigul briyani is better than Sankaran kovil briyani ...!!!!

As a common man i always wanted to explore India as earlier as possible before its too late. I did it in 2015 October. I will explain my whole trip in my next post. My thanks to my friend Dr Sakthivel for
